All of our Screen Board Privacy fences are made with #1 Northern White Cedar.
Board Options:
1x4 inch wide with butted or ship lap joinery and 1x6 inch wide with tongue groove joinery. Top profile of fences can be straight, scalloped, or convex.
Backing Rails: Cedar 2x3 molded or square 2x4 square or routed and rustic rails. Universal Board or framed style sections come with square or routed 2x4 rails. Special Order: 2x4 pressure treated
Heights: Standard 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 feet but we can manufacture custom heights for an additional cost.
Length:
Standard 8 feet. Custom sections up to 10 feet are available for an additional cost.
Cap Strips: Flat top board fences can be finished on top with a decorative 1x2 cap strip in straight, scalloped, or convex profile. An optional 2x3 heavy molded cap strip is available for straight profile fences.
Caps and Fascia Boards: To create a more finished look you can substitute the cap strip with a 1x4 cap and a 1x4 top or bottom routed fascia board.
Installation Options: Mortise and tenon installation with doweled rails and drilled posts. Universal Board or frame style sections are attached with screws to blank posts (no drilling).
Post options: Square 5x5 or 6x6 cedar or pressure treated
Post Tops: Pyramid or Flat caps chamfered edge or Gothic top.
All of our wood fences are available for staining in our shop before installation.
